Lack-Luster Eye Color...Try Colored Contact Lenses

So your eyes have a lack-luster color and you want to liven them up a It's easy with colored contact lenses. They make it possible to change your eye color any time you want. Depending on your mood you could have a sizzling green during the day and a sexy blue at night. You have a wide range of choices.

Basically there are 4 kinds of colored contact lenses. There are visibility tints, opaque color tints, enhancement tints, and light-filtering tints. Many are of them can be obtained plano (non-prescription). There are also designs for people with astigmatism, people who need bifocals, and for people who want disposable lenses.

The visibility tint lenses are either light blue or green. This is only to help you see them better when you put them in, take them out, or drop them. The tint is very light so it doesn't affect your eye color.

Then there's the enhancement tint contact lenses It's a solid tint that's darker than the visibility tint and it does affect the color of the eyes. What it does is enhance the existing color of your eyes. If you have light colored eyes this is the best one to use to make your eyes really pop out.

The color tints are deeper tints that can drastically change the color of your eyes. They can have either patterns or solid colors. If your eyes are dark colored this is the type of lens you'll need. There are many different colors to choose from.

Companies that make the colored contact lenses have done a great job of copying the natural look of the colored part of the eye. Since this area is not just one solid color they've added colorful shapes and lines to make them look more natural.

Lastly is the light-filtering tints. They've come along more recently. They were made for people who are involved in some type of sporting activity. The reason for this is they enhance certain colors and that results in other colors being muted. This will make the ball stand out against the back round making it easier to target.

A light filtering lens was developed just for golfers. It makes it easier to for them to tell the difference between the various greens. Baseball player use amber-tinted contact lenses that filter out blue light so they can see the baseball easier. There are more color contacts being developed for other types of sports enthusiasts.
